This classic violet wand machine has been lovingly restored in the UK to it's original performance for you by Bound2tease. Produced in Britain, and originally showcased by The Sun Electrical Co Ltd, Charing Cross Road, London, this lovely Sunco violet ray is the epitome of a luxury item from the 1930's - everything about it screams quality. The case superbly designed for transportation.  Featuring a new leather stap, original case metal wear, and refinished wooden case. The original hairbrush restored, with new rubber supporting the tines. It also benefits from the original accompanying treatment guide.

Eminently reliable, and now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout. This Sunco violet wand machine is one of a number of machines noted for having a high output.

Controls

Power output controlled by two dials - Left, marked "current control", adjusts flow. Right dial, marked "H. F. Control", adjusts frequency. Using both dials in conjunction giving one the widest possible array of output - from a gentle whisper to strong. This versatility at one's fingertips, allowed one to adjust and tweak the frequency and flow to tailor the high frequency treatment to their patient's particular needs.  Please note the spark gapped hand-piece, enables one to safely handle the metal bar during saturation treatments. The hand-piece insert itself is fully doped, (this is the bit that generates the high voltage), this helps ensure the overall durability of the machine.

We recommend rheostat controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly superior to almost all thumb-wheel and frequency controlled devices - making for a better end user experience

To Operate

Ready to use, the control unit is built into the case, the wand-handpiece and mains lead both need connecting to the machine.  Connect handpiece to socket bottom right of fascia plate (marked "high frequency") . Next check toggle switch matches your power outlet.  Now connect power lead socket bottom left of fascia plate (marked "current") . 
To operate, simply connect the control box to your power outlet. Insert your treatment electrode, and start the machine running, turn the HF dial clockwise, this also adjusts the frequency of the device. The left hand dial enabled one to regulate the flow of current. Both dials effect the overall intensity.  To stop, turn HF dial anticlockwise to off.  Always ensure you disconnect from the mains output when not in use.Voltage

This device will operate worldwide from 110-120 volts (USA, Canada, Japan) to 220-240 volts (UK, France, Germany, mainland Europe, Australia) simply by adjusting the toggle switch. We tend to  advise customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlets to utilize a small step up voltage converter/transformer to get the best out of this device as it will operate much better at this setting.
