This classic violet wand machine has been lovingly restored in the UK to it's original performance for you by Bound2tease. Produced in Britain, and originally showcased by The Sun Electrical Co Ltd, Charing Cross Road, London, this lovely Sunco violet ray is the epitome of a luxury item from the 1950's - everything about it screams quality. The case superbly designed for transportation.  It also benefits from a ridiculously rare, and very desirable intense wound electrode (this electrode is not intended to glow).

Eminently reliable, and now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout. This Sunco violet wand machine is one of a number of machines noted for having a high output. The original grounding and filter system has been upgraded to in incorporate the now legal equivalent and this device benefits from a full electrical rebuild, reworked to include modern safety features without any harmful modifications.

Controls

Power output controlled by three dials :-
Left, controls voltage selection and of. 
Central, dial marked weak / strong adjusts output from weak to strong. 
Right dial increases output.  
This combination gives the user versatility at one's fingertips, allowing one to adjust and tailor the high frequency treatment to their patient's particular needs,  giving one the widest possible array of output - from a gentle whisper to strong. 

Please note we have added a physical spark gap to the hand-piece coil.  This enables one to safely handle the metal bar during saturation treatments. The hand-piece insert itself is fully doped, (this is the bit that generates the high voltage), this helps ensure the overall durability of the machine and safety of the user.

To Operate

Ready to use, the control unit is built into the case, the wand-handpiece and mains are both captive to the power outlet.  
To operate, simply connect the control box to your power outlet. Insert your treatment electrode, select whether you want a weak or strong treatment, select the voltage to match your power output (switch right for 200-250 volts in UK), place electrode in direct contact with the skin and turn the right dial clockwise, to increase the output. The centre dial regulates output intensity, the right dial regulates the flow of current. Both dials effect the overall intensity.  To stop, turn HF dial anticlockwise to off. 
Always ensure you disconnect from the mains output when not in use.

Voltage

This device will operate worldwide from 110-120 volts (USA, Canada, Japan) to 220-240 volts (UK, France, Germany, mainland Europe, Australia) simply by adjusting the voltage dial. We tend to  advise customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlets to utilize a small step up voltage converter/transformer to get the best out of this device as it will operate much better at this setting.
