Dates from the 1930's, manufactured in Germany, a fine device, with an extensive array of electrodes and an exceptional range of output, from extremely low (for secondary contact) to very high (ouch - bittersweet electroplay). Vintage devices produce more bite and ozone than their modern day counterparts.

This electrotherapy machine has been fully restored inside and out, the case covered with new high quality leather cloth covering, new hardware and freshly lined crimson velvet. A full electrical overall incorporating improvements to performance and safety, and now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout, incorporating a user serviceable fast blow fuse (located on the underside of the control unit).

Fully potted hand-piece for those who expect above average usage, complete stripped down control unit, fully rewired and insulated, and yes, of course, modern capacitors to allow for smooth efficient running & all fully guaranteed for a period of one year.

Controls

Top control: voltage selector.Switch left = 110-120 volts, Switch Right= 220-240 volts.

To the bottom of the fascia, a centrally positioned dial - this controls output by operating a rheostat, giving you the widest possible array of output- from a gentle whisper to something really rather mean.

Output is regulated by a rheostat. We recommend rheostat controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly superior to almost all thumb-wheel and frequency controlled devices; making for a better end user experience.

To Operate

All in all, an extremely simple machine to use. The control unit can be removed from the case and placed on a convenient surface - the leads are both captive to the device.

Ready to use:” first ensure that the voltage selector matches your local power supply - switch right if you have a 220-240 volt mains outlet, or left for 110/120 volts outlet. Now you are ready to connect the device to the mains (power outlet). Next, insert your treatment electrode into the wand handpiece; then adjust the output to your desired intensity by way of the lower dial. Not too high at first - this machine bites.

Voltage

Runs on either 110-120 (USA) or 220-240 volts (UK, Europe, Australia). Customers with 110-120 volts mains outlets may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.

Electrode

Includes 20 treatment electrodes, seated on a new crimson velvet lining, 15 in the lid and 5 in the base. All violet wand electrode attachments are guaranteed as fully functional. This set contains numerous insulated electrodes, these have double walled stems to prevent the charge grounding at first point of contact, yes they were originally intended to treat a patient’s internal orifices.
