Originally used for holistic treatment, this violet ray set, with original tesla coil technology, is a classic high frequency set which produces more ozone and bite that can be hoped to be achieved by any modern / solid state device. It's worth mentioning that the output from all of our vintage devices is fully isolated from the mains (household current) something that cannot be said for all modern devices.

Noted for having a high output, the violetray's output is regulated by way of a potentiometer. We recommend potentiometer controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly which is vastly superior to most of the lesser thumb-wheel controlled devices, making for a better end user experience. Thumb-wheeled controlled devices, by the nature of their design can be prone to output drift  - something that will not happen with this device.

Controls

Centrally positioned potentiometer dial which controls output. To the left of the fascia plate are clearly marked black voltage selection buttons.

To Operate

Ready to use, the control unit is built into the case and both leads are captive to the device. 

First ensure you press the button to matchs your mains power supply - 110 / 120 volts (USA, North America, Canada, Japan, Brazil), or 220 / 240 volts (UK, Australia, South Africa and mainland Europe). 

To operate, simply connect the power lead to the household power outlet.

Next select your treatment electrode and insert into the handpiece. Start the machine running by turning the potentiometer dial (turn clockwise).  To stop treatment turn anticlockwise.

 Voltage

Operates on either 110-120 volts (USA, North America, Japan) or 220-240 volts (UK, Australia, Europe) Customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlet may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.

Electrodes

A fine selection of 10 treatment electrodes - 6 in lid and 4 in base. This set includes the original antique treatment mirror with a beautifully aged patina and all electrodes, which are guaranteed as fully functional (the metal bar in some photographs is for illustration purposes only). are  seated on an original antique opulent purple velvet which is in excellent condition.
