Antique Irradius violet ray 5 glass electrodes

For your consideration,  we present this early 20th Century Vintage Irradius Violet Wand which benefits from a complete electrical rebuild, top to bottom rebuild,  and metalware all renewed both inside and out. We kept the original cherry red velvet lining as this was in excellent condition and includes the original silver embossed  logo.  This really is a great little machine.

This classic violet wand machine has been lovingly restored in the UK to it's original performance for you by Bound2tease. Produced in France in the mid 1930's, this Irradius is a compact device, superbly designed for transportation.

Output is regulated by a potentiometer. We recommend potentiometer controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly superior to almost all thumb-wheel and frequency controlled devices, making for a better end user experience.

Controls

Bottom of the fascia, a large dial which controls output by way of a potentiometer. The wand hand-piece is captive to the control unit.  

Top left of the fasica, red and black voltage selection sockets - clearly marked 110-120 volts, or 220-240 volts.  IMPORTANT:  this leads need connecting to the control unit before connecting the machine to the power outlet.

To Operate

Ready to use, the control unit is built into the case. To operate, first connect the power lead to the black and red sockets, making sure you select the appropriately marked voltage to match your region, next simply connect to the mains power outlet, now you are ready to use your device and commence treatment by selecting your treatment electrode and inserting this into the hand-piece. To start, simply turn the machine running to your desired output by turning the potentiometer dial clockwise.

Voltage

This device operates on either 110 - 120 volts (USA, North America, Canada, Japan, Brazil), or on 220-240 volts (UK, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, mainland Europe, Australia). Customers with 110 -120 volts mains power outlets will require a a small step up voltage converter to utilise this device.

You will find 5 treatment electrode attachments, seated on the original cherry red velvet lining, included with this violet wand set. All electrodes are guaranteed as fully functional.

1. violet ray surface mushroom electrode
2. concave surface electrode (nipple/single eye)
3. throat electrode (can be used on any curved body part)
4. fulgurator electrode(metal-tipped this one burns - is used to cauterize warts or verrucas - also used in fireplay
5. comb electrode (6 tines of pleasure)
