Vitalis as a company started producing Violet Wand Sets in France the 1920's, famed for their build quality and high performance. This is one of their stunning violet ray models with an onboard ampere meter, giving a visual indication of the current being drawn. This set is relatively compact device given the electrode selection and is superbly designed for transportation.

Eminently reliable, and now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout. This Vitalis violet wand machine is one of a number of machines noted for having a high output (the photographs show what lesser devices cannot do). Potted hand-piece.

Output is regulated by a potentiometer. We recommend potentiometer controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly superior to almost all thumb-wheel and frequency controlled devices - making for a better end user experience.

Violet wand Controls

To the left-hand side of the fascia plate, an ampere-meter which allows the user to visually check the amount of current being transmitted. To the right-hand a large dial which controls the output by way of a potentiometer. Centrally, there is a white on/off pause button which enables you to stop the machine and change electrodes between treatments, without altering any treatment settings - press once to pause, press again to recommence. Originally, this feature enabled the clinician to place and electrode against the skin without causing painful sparks. Above this - voltage selection. Depress Black = 110-120 volts, Depress Ivory = 220-240 volts.

To Operate this Violet wand

Ready to use, the control unit is built into the case with leads captive to the control unit. First, ensure that you select the correct voltage by depressing the button, you are now ready to connect to the mains power outlet. Insert your treatment electrode, and start the machine running to your desired output by turning the potentiometer dial clockwise.

Voltage

Works on either 110-120 volts (USA, North America, Japan, Brasil) or 220-240 volts (UK, mainland Europe, Australia). Customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlets may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.

Electrodes

You will find 10 treatment electrode attachments, seated on a new purple velvet lining, are included in this violet wand set. All electrodes are guaranteed as fully functional (please note: the metal bar in some photographs is purely for illustration purposes only).
