This German Quarzlampe high frequency machine, which dates from the 1950's, appears to be manufactured by Helios, albeit in our opinion, it is a superior device. The fascia plate depicts a radiating horseshoe - a visual depiction of the horseshoe rheostat housed beneath and now with an updated filter system reducing the incidence of EMI interference; along with power indicator lamp and treatment pause button.

To Operate

Ready to use, this machine is really easy to operate - the control unit is built into the case and all leads captive to the device. Simply connect the device to the power outlet.Then select your desired treatment electrode and insert this into the handpiece.Now, turn the dial clockwise to desired output - and press the white button to start and stop the machine.

Voltage

This violet wand operates on 220-240 volts (UK, Australia, Europe) [North America and customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlet will require a small step up voltage converter to utilize this device.]

A fine selection of 7 high quality helios treatment electrodes seated on a new jet black cotton velvet lining. All electrodes are guaranteed as fully functional (the metal bar in some photographs is for illustration purposes only). from left to right
