Eminently reliable, and now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout. This Provita violet wand machine is one of the better potentiometer controlled devices. It is one of a number of machines noted for having a fantastic range of output from really really low to medium high (the photographs show what lesser devices cannot do).

Controls

Top Right: voltage selection studs: left, 100-150 volts,  right, 200 -250 volts.
Bottom Right - sockets which connect the handpiece.

Left - rotary dial which regulates output by way of a potentiometer - clockwise = increase / anti-clockwise = decrease

Operation?

The control unit is built into the case. First connect the hand-piece to the black sockets.  Then connect the power lead to the appropriately marked studs, to match your mains power outlet, finally connect the powerlead to your power outlet. Now you are ready to insert your treatment electrode into the hand-piece, and to start the machine running by turning the dial clockwise until you reach your ideal output.

Voltage

Operates on either 110-120 volts (USA, North America, Canada, Japan, Brazil), or 220/240 volts (UK, Australia, South Africa and mainland Europe). [Customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlets may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.]
