Dating from the 1930's, and manufactured in Germany, this Primus is a quality, powerful device. Vintage devices produce more bite and ozone than their modern day counterparts.

Once a medicinal electrotherapy machine, now with alternate uses, this device has been fully restored inside and out, the case covered with new high quality leather-cloth covering, new hardware and freshly lined burgundy velvet. A full electrical overall incorporating improvements to performance and safety, and now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout.

Controls

Both leads are captive to the device To the top of the fascia you will find the voltage selection dial. Switch left = 110-120 volts, Switch right = 220-240 volts. Beneath this you will find the main output dial, this regulates the output by way of a rheostat, giving you the widest possible array of sensations - from a gentle whisper to something really rather mean.

Output is regulated by a rheostat. We recommend rheostat controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly superior to almost all thumb-wheel and frequency controlled devices; making for a better end user experience.

To Operate

All in all, an extremely simple machine to use. The control unit can be removed from the case and placed on a convenient surface.

Ready to use: first ensure you selected the correct voltage to match your mains (power outlet). Now connect the machine to your mains power outlet. Next, insert your treatment electrode, and adjust the output to your desired intensity by turning the rheostat dial clockwise. Not too high at first - this machine bites.

Voltage

Runs on either 110-120 (USA) or 220-240 volts (UK, Europe, Australia). Customers with 110-120 volts mains outlets may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.

Electrode

Includes 20 treatment electrodes, seated on a new burgundy velvet lining, 13 in the lid and 7 in the base. All violet wand electrode attachments are guaranteed as fully functional. This set includes an insulated electrodes, this has a double walled stems to prevent the charge grounding at first point of contact, yes they were originally intended to treat a patient's internal orifices.
