The fascia plate is badged DWH, A Lutzenkirchen, Pforzheim, however we have reason to believe this feature packed German 1930's device was manufactured by Pansanitor as it is very similar in construction to the model 30, which was superior to most other devices of the era which omitted such refinements such as internal filters, and grounding bar - these features were standard with the Model 30 and also included an extensive array of electrodes and good range of output, from low to high (ouch - bittersweet electroplay). Vintage devices produce more bite and ozone than their modern day counterparts. 

This electrotherapy machine has been fully restored inside and out, the case covered with new high quality leather-cloth covering, new hardware and freshly lined opulent purple velvet. A full electrical overall incorporating improvements to performance and safety, and this devices is now of a higher build quality, as modern replacement components are used throughout - we have completely stripped down the control unit, and fully rewired, insulated, and added modern capacitors, internal filters which allows for smooth efficient running and comes standard with a fully guaranteed for a period of one year. Really a superb violet wand which benefits from a grounded hand-piece and grounding bar. This grounding bar, when attached to the control box will ground the patient and prevent any stray sparks.

Controls

Top control: voltage selector and off. Switch left = 110-120 volts, Centre - off, Switch Right= 220-240 volts.

To the front of the fascia, a centrally positioned rotary dial - this controls output by operating a rheostat, giving you the widest possible array of output- from a gentle whisper to something really rather mean.

Output is regulated by a rheostat. We recommend rheostat controlled devices like this machine, as they provide smooth even output transmission, which is vastly superior to almost all thumb-wheel and frequency controlled devices; making for a better end user experience.

To Operate

All in all, an extremely simple machine to use. The control unit can be removed from the case and placed on a convenient surface - the leads are both captive to the device.

Ready to use: First connect to the power outlet ensuring that the voltage selector is in the central off position. Next, insert your treatment electrode into the wand handpiece now switch the voltage selector to match your power supply. Now adjust the output to your desired intensity by way turning of the rotary dial.  To use the grounding bar, this attaches to the control unit via a 4 mm plug - insert this into the control box - have the patient hold the metal bar and then switch the machine on, this will prevent errant sparks flying from the patient.

Voltage

Runs on either 110-120 (USA) or 220-240 volts (UK, Europe, Australia). Customers with 110-120 volts mains outlets may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.

Electrode

Includes 20 treatment electrodes, seated on a new purple velvet lining, 12 in the lid and 8 in the base. All violet wand electrode attachments are guaranteed as fully functional. This set contains numerous insulated electrodes, these have double walled stems to prevent the charge grounding at first point of contact, yes they were originally intended to treat a patient's internal orifices.
