This S. Buchbinder violet wand machine is a very early version of the IFAS machine and was produced in England in the same factory in the late 1940's. It is one of a number of machines noted for having a high output (the photographs show what lesser devices cannot do).

Controls

Top dial - selects mains voltage with a central off position, switch left 100-125 volts; switch right 200-250 volts

Lower dial regulates output - clockwise to increase output, anticlockwise decrease output.

Operation?

This machine is ready to plug and use - simply connect to the electricity power supply, ensuring the top dial is in the off position. Next, add your electrode to the handpiece, now start the machine running by using the voltage selector (ensuring you select voltage to match your mains power outlet) - next adjust the output by turning the lower dial clockwise.

Operates on either 110/120 volts (USA, North America, Canada, Japan, Brazil), or 220/240 volts (UK, Australia, South Africa and mainland Europe).[Customers with 110 -120 volts mains outlets may find it advantageous using a small step up voltage converter to get the best out of this device.]
